The government of China is spending $3.5 billion to build an entertainment park for the Muslim society. This will be the first of its kind Muslim theme park in China, with a mosque-like golden palace, Arabic street signs, and a detailed light and dance show.

In this new Disneyland-like Muslim theme park, the females will be allowed to wear Islamic dresses and the people will have to remove their shoes inside the “Golden Palace.”

The Yinchuan will be converted into a Muslim theme park.

Yinchuan is the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in China. It is 965 km west of the Beijing. It is one of the very few places in China where an ethnic minority (Hui people) hold the power of governance, it is a mixture of Chinese-Muslim culture.

The Muslim theme park is a project of the government’s larger bid to improve relations with the Arab world by maintaining shared Sino-Arab history and culture.

Last year, China faced a lot of criticism when it banned the Muslim minorities in the Xinjiang region from fasting during the month of the Ramadan. Reports were also coming that China has banned the Muslim prayers inside offices, schools, and the government buildings. But now, this country is showing its kindness for the Muslims by buiding a park for them.
