Huawei is gearing up to launch its new device on October 16 in London. The company has been consequently dropping some hints about the upcoming flagship. While we already know that it will be powered by Kirin 980 chipset, the latest teaser hints at the square-shaped triple camera of Huawei Mate 20.
The company just posted a teaser on Weibo with the wording, “This is the time to explore something new.” What’s interesting is that in the middle of the video a square box with rounded corners can be seen clearly which hints towards the weird camera arrangement of the Mate 20.
Huawei Mate 20 will not be the company’s first phone with triple camera setup as it has already launched the P20 Pro earlier this year.
No technical details like specifications or technology used in cameras have been revealed in the video, so it is hard to say how much, advanced technology will the triple camera of Huawei Mate 20 will use instead of the prevailing triple camera system in P20 Pro?
Report’s suggest that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro could have a 40MP main sensor coupled with a 20MP monochrome sensor and an 8MP sensor with a telephoto lens and 3x optical zoom while the Mate 20 will support a lower resolution.
The phone is also rumored to be the first one from Huawei that supports the in-display fingerprint scanning just like the earlier launched Vivo V11 Pro.
