Samsung is finally rolling out the new Android Oreo update for its last year flagship devices Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. The new update will first roll out to the users who were in the beta program and then will make its way to the other users around the world.
Google launched its new OS update, Android Oreo last year and since then smartphone users across the world have been waiting patiently for the OS update to appear on their devices.
We are not yet sure when Galaxy S8 devices in different regions will start receiving Oreo but with the upcoming launch of the Galaxy S9 on 25th February, we can expect the company to speed up the process for its users.
If you want to see whether you have the upgrade, you can enter the Settings menu and then head towards Software Update option. The users will also get new features including picture-in-picture mode, boosted audio performance and improved performance and battery life.
Apart from the updated OS, the Galaxy S8 users will also receive the February security patch and the new Samsung Experience 9.0, which includes various new features like a new keyboard, improvements to Bixby, a color lens for the display, and more.
