Its the first month of 2018 and we’ve finally got our much-awaited gadget, a smartphone with an in-display fingerprint scanner. We saw a lot of amazing tech at CES this year and one of them was Vivo X20 Plus UD smartphone that features a first-ever in-display fingerprint sensor.

For all of those who were still skeptical about the device, guys you should renew your faith as the in-display fingerprint is now a reality. Vivo has finally launched Vivo X20 Plus UD which comes with an AMOLED display that allows the Clear ID 9500 sensor to work beneath the screen.

To unlock the device, a person just has to place their finger on the screen. The smartphone will come with its own compatible screen protector for the device as the old-fashioned think screen protector will render this feature useless.

The smartphone has initially been launched in China and we are not sure when it will make its way to other parts of the world. The phone will officially go on sale on February 1 with a price tag of CNY3,598

The rest of the phone’s features are the same as Vivo X20 Plus which includes:
