Apple has already stolen tech world’s attention with the continuously surfacing leaks about the three new iPhone 2018 models but it seems that the company doesn’t want to break the suspense which is why we never laid our eyes on any live image leak.
However, with this recent leak, this is going to change. A renowned tech site 9to5Mac has reported that both the 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED models of the phone will be called the iPhone XS and that Apple will drop the ‘Plus’ moniker for the bigger sized model.
The site has also published an image of the two phones in Gold color, stacked on each other. As per their claim, these are not the press renders of the phones, but the phone themselves.
Design wise, both the phones look exactly like the last years iPhone X, but since its Apple, we expect to see a huge upgrade in the internals as suggested by the leaks and rumors.
Earlier Apple confirmed that the launch for the iPhone 2018 models, which are also expected to include an entry-level 6.1-inch LCD phone, will take place at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino on September 12.
The company has given out invites for the launch event on which “Gather Around” is written in gold letters on a black background with a Golden circle above it. This hints that the pictures of Gold iPhone from 9to5Mac may be truly the iPhone XS.
