Apple launched its three new iPhone models in its keynote last night but that’s not all. Apple Watch Series 4 has also been launched with some of the most exciting health features never seen before on any smartwatch in the market.

Here is everything you need to know about the amazing new smartwatch from Apple.

Design and Display

Apple Watch Design and Display

The new smartwatch from Apple comes with a 30% larger display as compared to the predecessor. It brings about two sizes; 40mm and 44mm along with redesigned watch face to give you more immersive look and refined graphics.

The watch has many similarities with its predecessor with a new digital crown on the right-hand side with haptic feedback. The speaker on the watch has also been completely redesigned, making it 50 percent louder, and the microphone can now be found on the opposite side.

The back of the Series 4 is made of black ceramic and sapphire crystal, allowing radio waves to pass through the front and back. Apple says this is meant to improve cell reception.

Specs and Battery

The watch runs on the all-new S4 dual-core processor from Apple that is designed to run 50% faster than its predecessor S3. The accelerometer and gyroscope on the watch have twice as much as the dynamic range than the predecessor and can gather motion data 8 times faster.

With improved specs and added features, you may think that the watch’s battery time might be reduced, but that’s not the case. It still provides the same 18 hours battery like its predecessor, in spite of the extra features.

Software and Special Features

ECG Apple Watch

The Apple Watch Series 4 now runs on the latest Watch OS5 which comes with improvements like the extra fitness features, walkie-talkie mode and many more. There are a number of jaw-dropping special features on the watch.
