Arif Shafique has been appointed as the Country Head of HMD Global for Pakistan & Afghanistan. HMD Global is the company behind the Nokia smartphones.

Arif Shafique is the renowned name in the smartphone industry. He has served the major telecommunications and automobile giants performing various leadership roles but his core focus was always on sales and marketing.

After serving the big names like Paktel, Mr. Arif Shafique joined Nokia Pakistan and Afghanistan as country manager in 2007. Due to certain reason, he resigned and joined Lenovo in July 2014 as the Smart Devices Country Manager. Now we have come to know that he is back in Nokia. He has joined back the company and will serve as Nokia’s Country head.
