Careem, the ride hailings service, already offers an amazing customer care service which is going to become even better soon as the company plans to use WhatsApp to help users reach them in an easy way, reports Arabian Business.

As part of a pilot project, Careem will be participating in WhatsApp’s enterprise solution’s test phase where it will allow the users of the Careem app to contact the customer care center using the popular messaging app.

As of right now, the user has to call their number, go through the “get help” section in the app, email or contact them through social media if they have a problem or a query. With this new feature, they just need to talk about their issue via messaging.

It looks like the company will introduce/test this feature in its home country before rolling out in other countries. Sandeep Shetty, Careem SVP of Operations describes that testing WhatsApp’s new solution for businesses is in line with the company’s efforts to bring the latest technologies in order to better the user’s user experience.

Earlier this year, WhatsApp launched a separate app for small businesses who can now easily connect with their customers. We have yet to see how it will connect people and businesses and bring them together to provide better service.
