CES 2017: Asus brings ZenFone 3 Zoom for camera lovers, ZenFone AR with 8GB RAM

At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017, Asus has introduced its ZenFone AR and Zoom series. The company has unveiled two smartphones Asus Zenfone AR and Zenfone 3 Zoom. The best features of these two smartphones are that AR model is the world’s first Day-dream enabled phone while the 3 Zoom comes with a massive 5,000mAh battery along with on-board dual-camera.

Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom has 12MP dual-cameras and wide-angle lens, there are advanced features with brightness options for capturing the pictures even in the dark environment. For selfies, the company has added a 5MP front shooter in this device. There is a 5.5-inch screen with the resolution of 1080 pixels and this display is protected by the latest Gorilla Glass from Corning.

Under the hood, you get a 4GB RAM and 128GB internal memory with the support of MicroSD card. The device houses Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, which is impressively faster and handles the multitasking very well. Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom can charge the other smartphones as it comes with a “power bank” feature.

According to the company, this smartphone is built for photography and that is why there is a high-end Sony IMX362 sensor in it. The other features of the camera of this phone include the dual-pixel phase detection and auto-focus. Moreover, it also supports the Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and 3-Axis Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS).

If we talk about the other device, Asus ZenFone AR packs a 5.7-inch screen and a 23MP camera, which is more than what the ZenFone 3 Zoom offers us. Moreover, this device comes with 8GB RAM, the smartphone has the latest version of Android, which is 7.0 (Nougat ). The company has not yet revealed the prices of Asus ZenFone AR and ZenFone 3 Zoom. We can expect the launch of these two smartphones on the market in the February, this year.
