Following the car manufacturers, Chinese bike assemblers have also increased the prices of two-wheelers, motorcycle rickshaws, and bike loaders in the country.
Although the rupee has been recovered against the dollar after the bailout package given by Saudi Arabia, Chinese bike manufacturers have elevated the prices citing the rupee depreciation as a reason.

United Rickshaw | 100cc | Rs. 5000 |

“These prices are increased due to the elevated cost of kits and parts of the motorbikes due to recent rupee devaluation,” said Chairman Association of Pakistan Motorcycle Assemblers (APMA), Mohammad Sabir Sheikh.
Although Honda, Suzuki, and Yamaha have still not increased their vehicle prices, they might do it soon, our sources report.
Pakistanis are forced to buy cheap quality and outdated designs of motorcycles. The government should sit with all the stakeholders and devise a policy similar to the one implemented for the 4 wheelers in Pakistan.
