Facebook Messenger Group CallFacebook has finally launched Group Calling on its Messenger app. The much-requested feature is rolled out today on Android and iOS app of Facebook Messenger. The feature is not available for Windows users yet.

Also,  The function is currently not available for all the iOS and Android users, but the company says it will be available in the next 24 hours.

To start a group call, you first have to start a group chat. A phone icon will appear in the upper right corner once the group chat is launched. Tap this icon, and a call will be initiated to all the people in the group.

Up to 50 friends can be a part of the group call, and you can only use it for voice calling, not video calling.

Messenger Chief David Marcus wrote on his official Facebook account, “Really excited to announce the global roll-out of group calling in Messenger today. Give it a try, and as always, let us know how we can make it even better for you.”

Facebook Messenger has recently crossed 900 million users. It launched this feature to compete with other messaging apps like Skype, LINE Messenger, Hike, Hangouts and WeChat, which already offer Group Calling.

Earlier Facebook Messenger launched Bot Store, and easy file sharing from Dropbox.

On the other hand, the company also has the plan to add Group Call functionality in its WhatsApp messenger.
