Factory reset your Android phone

Factory reset for your phone is needed for several reasons. Sometimes you need to reset your phone back to its original status because it is getting slower and you are not able to speed it up with the help of any app, or, there is a recent software update that is causing your phone to crash frequently. Such a factory reset that happens from within the phone’s setting area is refer to as soft reset.

Moreover, one of the worst case scenarios that might lead us to factory reset, is when our phone is protected with password/PIN/pattern and we no longer remember it. This is the most frustrating situation where there is a risk of losing all your data.

Note: Whatever kind of factory reset it is, your data including photos, videos, text messages, call history etc will be deleted forever during this process.

2 – Type 2 (from setting area)

Type 1 (Soft Reset)

For most of the time, when you start feeling your Android phone is getting sluggish and no app is opening the way it used to be and you are fed up of installing number of ads filled Cleaning Apps for snatching away some extra RAM and keeping things a little fast, you just press the power button for 30 seconds to restart your phone.

In most of the cases, this will fix all the temporary problems and its processor and RAM will calm down for a while. Sometime you can get offended by a third party app for exhausting your phone’s resources. In such a case you can get rid of this app by entering into the safe mode. If you want to try this, here we have elaborated it for you.

If the above doesn’t do what you wanted, then jump to the next step
