We are eight months into 2017 and Samsung already dominates the war of the flagship phones with the launch of its Galaxy S8 and S8+. Now, only a few weeks are left before the unveiling of the much-awaited phablet Samsung Galaxy Note 8 on 23rd August which is expected to further strengthen the brand’s position on the score board.
While we are waiting patiently for the Unpacked event, many rumored specs are making rounds on the internet. While many of them seem questionable the same cannot be said about VentureBeat whose source claims that Galaxy Note 8 will come with the following features:
The design of the phablet will be similar to the Galaxy S8 and S8+ though it will be even larger than the latter. Galaxy Note 8 will have a 6.3 inches large SuperAMOLED display with 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution.
The corners of the smartphone are squared off and the physical dimensions of the phone will be around 162.5mm x 74.6mm, with an 8.5mm thickness.
The Galaxy Note 8 will have two variants, one will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and the other will come with Exonys 8895 just like the flagship smartphones.
the smartphone will be a powerhouse with 6GB of RAM and an internal memory of 64GB which can be expanded with MicroSD card.
When it comes to battery we are certain that we will not be seeing last year’s fire show. Note 8 will pack a 3300 mAh battery that can be recharged wirelessly or via USB C port.
We have already seen that the camera of the Galaxy Note 8 will do wonders but according to VentureBeat’s source, their smartphone will feature a dual camera with 12MP sensors at the back with n f1.7 aperture and dual-pixel autofocus.
The lenses would be optically stabilized and will enable a 2x zoom.
As we previously reported, the smartphone will come in Midnight Black, Maple Gold, Orchid Grey and Deep Sea Blue colors. The expected price of the smartphone is around €1,000 or Rs 124,810.
