Keeping needs and requirements of modern tourists, Google just launched a new traveling app, called as ‘Google Trips.’ This application works as a travel guide for the users while they are on the go. With the tagline of “See More, Plan Less” the intelligent app automatically manages your hotel reservations, plane tickets and provides information about more than 200 cities.
Probably the best thing about this app is its ability to work offline as well. All you need to do is download all the required maps, walking directions and other desired information on your smartphone.
As usual, Google’s latest product is Free and available for both Android and iOS. It requires you to log in with your Google account and explore the world in an easier and joyful manner. You can get activity recommendations based on what is nearby; other features include travel reservations from Gmail and customizable day plans.
Key Features of the app
- Automatic trip organization
- Bundled Reservations
- Day Plans
- Nearby Attractions
- Things to do
- Offline Access
There is a search bar on the top, which allows the users to search any location like food places quickly. The entire layout of the app is based on the Google Cards style. These cards let the users keep a record of their current and upcoming travel plans.
In addition to this, Google Trips automatically gets your travel reservations from Gmail and organize them into individual trips. Each trip contains day plans, things to do, food and drink suggestions, and more. You can see favorite spots on the map and instantly get information about them by tapping any of them. Other than this, you can also pin the spot that you want to visit in the coming days.
It’s pertinent to note that Google has been taking a keen interest in new apps development. Earlier, the company launched “Spaces, which allows you to create any topic and then invite your friends to participate in the discussion.
