It is finally happening, Google is launching its new Android Operating System, and we know the time and date of the big event.

For months the tech giant has teased us with the news regarding the new update Android O, and we have witnessed many new features in the developer’s preview but now the day is finally upon us to find out for ourselves what Google has in-store for us.

Tha launch of Android O coincides with the solar eclipse i.e. 21st August and the company has launched a dedicated website to celebrate the two occasions. Google also announced the big news on Twitter:

Viewers can not only watch the solar eclipse from home but can also tune in to see the launch of Android O via company’s live stream.

Previously it was rumored that the HMD Global’s flagship device Nokia 8 will become the first smartphone to feature Android O but the recent launch of the phone suggests otherwise, though the Nokia phones will soon get the latest OS.

All that is left for us now is to wait for the live stream that could be viewed at 7:40 PM GMT or 12:40 AM PST (Pakistan Standard Time).
