Google is on fire with introducing mobile data friendly apps. After YouTube Go, Gboard Go, and Google Assistant Go the tech giant has introduced Gmail Go for the Android users.
The new Gmail Go app is available in the Google Play store but unfortunately, right now it is available ins elected countries around the world and is limited to devices running the latest Android Oreo OS. If you cannot wait to get your hands on the mobile app, you can install it via APK.
Gmail Go is just like any other mobile application in the Google’s Go project and can do anything a regular mail app can do. The mobile app uses less RAM and to save the mobile data loads the images only on demand.
When combined with Gboard Go, the mobile app will work further efficiently in saving the user’s mobile data but in this version, the user will not be able to insert all the GIFs.
In case, if you do not like the new Gmail Go app and prefer the standard one, you’ll need to uninstall it from the Play store instead of the settings of the smartphone.
Last year, Google also introduced its new Datally mobile app to help smartphone users understand, control, and save mobile data.
