Uber Pakistan explores partnership with Government of Punjab for Apna Rozgar Scheme

had recently launched in Pakistan; the online taxi dispatch company is one of its kinds. The service was initiated in Lahore with the free ride offers on the weekends. Now, Government of Punjab is getting ready to get into a partnership with Uber Pakistan.

Uber will be used as a multiplier for the entrepreneurs who received 50,000 government-subsidized taxis through Bank of Punjab Apna Rozgar Scheme.

According to the first details, chairman PITB, Dr. Umar Saif announced on his Facebook page about this expected partnership. CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif met with the Uber team and talked about this business.

It seems like Uber is about to see many partnerships with the stakeholders in Pakistan. Recently, Mobilink also announced its collaboration with this company, and now Government of Punjab is seeking partnership with it.
