The federal government has decided to give stipends to the internees of Prime Minister’s Youth Training Scheme.

The technical supplementary grant for the youth program has been in the cabinet’s agenda for quite some time now. Thankfully it’s been approved and now the unemployed youth will be getting the stipend enrolled in the training programs.

Prime Minister’s Youth Training Scheme provides internship opportunities in different public and private sector offices. The stipend for the youth training program was terminated by the previous government. However, now almost 87,000 young students will be able to get a stipend while getting vocational and administrative training.

The federal government pays Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 15000 to the internees enrolled in the program. Although it’s a meager amount, it helps student carry out their monthly commuting and other small chores.

It is worth noting here that the government has not announced new admissions for the youth training program. There is fake news being circulated at social media regarding the program. The government has issued a notification and warned citizens from fraudulent elements who try to mislead masses.
