Google has recently released the latest Android P version of its mobile operating system with amazing upgrades in security and privacy which has first been made available to the Pixel series smartphone from the company.
Other smartphone manufacturers have announced their list of devices that will be updated to the latest version of the Android operating system but the Finnish company HMD Global came as a shocker when it confirmed that all of its Nokia Smartphones will receive Android P update.
Among all the devices, the Nokia 7 Plus is expected to be the first smartphone from HMD Global to receive the Android Pie update given that it’s the only device from the Finnish company in the Developer Preview program. Later, the update could roll out to Nokia 8 and 8 Sirocco.
The Android 9.0 Pie, which was available in beta phase since March this year, comes with a number of improvements, including new personalization features, battery-saving optimizations, and tools that help tracking time users spend on the phone.
Android P beta was launched in March this year, and its stable version launched in August. It comes with numerous upgrades and improvements over the previous version. The upgrades include personalization option, battery optimizations and our most favorite feature, Digital Wellbeing, that will help you keep track of the time you spend on your phone in order to give you warnings about the adverse effects of increased smartphone usage.
