The stage has been set and soon Honor will soon be lifting the curtains to introduce its much-awaited Honor 20 Pro smartphone in Pakistan. The company’s flagship smartphone will be launching on 5thb August in the country.
Honor 20 Pro received Google Play certification a while back and now the Chinese smartphone maker is ready to introduce it in different regions around the world.
The smartphone was initially announced in May 2019 and presents its unique take on premium smartphones. Let’s take a look at all the main features of the upcoming device:
Design & Display
Honor 20 Pro comes with a gorgeous design and flaunts what Honor calls a “Dynamic Holographic” glass back which essentially create a 3D effect for the smartphone users. Coming to the phone’s display, we get 6.26 inches of IPS LCD screen with 1080 x 2340 pixels of resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
The smartphone does not come with a notched display rather there is a small punch hole at the top left side of the screen for the selfie camera.
Processor & Battery
The smartphone features Huawei’s Kirin 980 chipset built on 7nm technology under the hood which also powers this year’s smartphone sensation, Huawei P30 Pro. We will be getting only a single variant of the device in Pakistan featuring an 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
It also packs a massive 4000mAh battery sporting 22.5W SuperCharge support which, according to the company, can provide 50% of charge in only 24 minutes.
Honor 20 Pro comes with quad-rear cameras featuring
- 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor (1/2”, 0.8µm pixels) with OIS, EIS, and f/1.4 aperture which according to Honor, allows 60% more light than the f/1.8 aperture
- 8MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3x lossless optical zoom 5x hybrid zoom and 30x digital zoom,
- 2MP macro lens
- 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with 117 degrees field of view
Honor claims that the f/1.4 aperture of the main camera sensor will allow 60% more light than the f/1.8 aperture. Furthermore, it is the first time any company has provided a dedicated macro lens which can take the image of an object placed 40cm away. The device also comes with a 32MP camera at the front for selfies.
The premium smartphone comes with a side-stacked fingerprint sensor placed right on top of the power button, making a notch altogether.
The phone will run on its custom Magic UI 2.1 instead of Huawei’s EMUI software but will still provide GPU Turbo 3 for the smooth gaming experience. Honor 20 Pro will also feature Graphene Cooling Sheet technology to efficiently dissipate heat produced by the smartphone.
