Honor is ready to take the wraps off its new mid-range smartphone, Honor 8X. The company already announced the launch date of the device which will be arriving along with a bigger version named Honor 8X Max. Today, via their official Weibo account, Honor announced that both the phones will come with more than 90% screen to body ratio.
It’s already been a trend for past sometime that the displays are getting bigger while the bezels are getting smaller and various flagships and midrange phone have been released with such aesthetics so how could Honor miss out on such a trend.
Like all the anticipated phones, Honor 8X also received many leaks including the retail box leak, keeping us excited for the launch. The phone also passed the TENAA certification in China which gave us a sufficient peek into the phone’s specs.
Honor 8x will come with Snapdragon 660 or Kirin 710 on board and more expectedly will arrive in two memory variants, one with 64GB memory and 4 GB RAM while the other with 64GB memory and 6GB RAM.
For the optics, the phone will come with a 16MP front-facing camera placed inside notch for selfies and video calling. A dual camera setup with 20MP + 2MP lenses along with LED Flash will show its might. The rear shooters are vertically aligned at the top left corner.
Honor 8X is expected to come with 4900mAh massive battery and will be released in Black, Blue, and Red colors.
