Honor has started to roll out an update for its latest gaming-centric offering, Honor Play which brings cool features like AIS (Artificial intelligence Stabilization) and bug fixes for the GPU Turbo technology.

The new update comes under the version COR-AL00 and may vary from 700MB to 800MB depending upon the region of the user. The update is currently rolling out Over the Air (OTA) and you can check for it by going to Settings > System > System Updates and tap on Check for Updates. It addresses many issues that the users previously reported with the phone.

To begin with, this update brings the AIS, a feature that debuted with the company’s triple camera flagship, P20 Pro, which even iPhone XS Max couldn’t beat. The same technology has also made its way to the Mate 10 series too. The company claims that the AIS acts far better than the EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) and can result in more steady shots.

Furthermore, the update also brings a fix for the GPU Turbo, a technology that aims to enhance the graphical experience in gaming while conserving battery. Previously, users had reported some bugs and lags in the said tech, which this update intends to fix.

Besides all these, the new update also provides stability to the Swift app feature, Party mode and the Watermark feature which was also reported by several users. Most importantly, it also carries the latest Android security patch.

The Honor Play comes as an affordable flagship that packs a high-end processor and some amazing features, all at a decent price. It is available in Pakistan for Rs. 42,000.
