Amidst all the latest rumors regarding phones, latest OS and gadgets we have a confirmation about something at least, from Samsung itself. Samsung has just updated its Unpacked 2017 app to let users watch the unveiling of Galaxy S8 live.

The Unpacked event is scheduled for 29th March in New York. If you’re invited to the event you can put your invite code in the app to access the QR code you will be required to produce at the event.

However, if you’re not invited the event physically you can always watch all the events unfold on your screen via the Unpacked app.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 will come with the most powerful Qualcomm chip ever, a 5.8 inch full HD display, 4GB RAM, 64/128 internal storage options, a 12-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel HDR video with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The battery is 3000 mAh Li-Po one. The Galaxy S8 is also rumored to include features such as facial recognition for payments and a slo-mo camera with a capability to record videos at 1000fps even more than Sony’s flagship Xperia XZ Premium.

Currently, the app has nothing but two teaser videos and a countdown that says six days remain until the release of Galaxy S8. The app is available at the Play Store.
