Huawei has separated the Honor phones from its regular product lineup in the world including Pakistan. The company has made a separate division for the Honor smartphones that will handle their marketing and selling in the country.

After this arrangement, Huawei Pakistan will no more look after the Honor phones and instead focus on its three primary series.

Huawei will sell Mate, P and Y which belong to elite flagship, lifestyle flagship and entry-level categories respectively, a Huawei official talked to More News.

The official privy to the development further confirmed there is no representative currently for Honor in Pakistan.

However, Chris Sun, Head of Honor for Africa and the Middle East confirmed More News that Honor brand has been separated as an independent entity. Shawn will look after the brand as Director Sales for the Middle Eastern region. Shawn has earlier worked for Pakistan market as well.

“As a young, trendsetting and technology brand, we always talk to young people, majorly though digital ways. Innovation, Quality and user experience are the keys of Honor’s success. With these key elements, with very competitive price, we do believe we can serve the end users of Pakistan very well. And more importantly, become a beloved brand in the country”, Chris commented.

For the local distribution and sales support, Honor has given the contract to Inovi Technologies, an old fella that also sells Sony phones in Pakistan. Their group company, and a separate entity, Advance Telecom has served Huawei earlier but both parted ways in March 2017 after a year’s marriage.

The company has also made its Facebook fan page for Pakistani audience for the Honor Phones.

Industry analysts are of the view that new arrangement in Pakistan has a primary motive to counter Oppo and Vivo selling strategy who belong to a single parent company.

Honor is Huawei’s e-brand that has seen success all over the world including US through online retail stores. It is the most selling online series in China even surpassing Huawei phones in popularity according to research firm Counterpoint.

In the US, Honor 7x enjoyed the top slot on Amazon’s best seller list whereas in Pakistan Honor 3C, 3C Lite and 4C were hot cakes as compared to other Huawei models.

Honor has also announced a pre-booking for its 7X and Honor 9 Lite models on Draz. Reports confirm that entire Honor product line will be sold in a completely separate way.
