After the massive increase in the prices of Samsung mobile phones, Huawei Pakistan has also increased the prices of their selected smartphones. It was, however, expected as the result of increased duty on import of cellphones.
In addition to the increased import duty, the dollar surge and the rupee downswing has also played its fair part in the elevation of mobile prices. So far Meizu remains the only smartphone company that has decreased its phone prices instead of increasing them.
Here are the revised prices of the Huawei smartphones in Pakistan.
|Huawei Y3 2017 3G||Rs. 11,000/-||Rs. 11,999/-|
|Huawei Y5 2018||Rs. 17,000/-||Rs. 17,999/-|
|Huawei Y7 2018||Rs. 23,500/-||Rs. 26,499/-|
|Huawei Mate 10 Lite||Rs. 31,500/-||Rs. 34,999/-|
|Huawei P20 Lite||Rs. 34,999/-||Rs. 34,999/-|
|Huawei P20 Pro||Rs. 99,999/-||Rs. 99,999/-|
|Huawei Nova 3i||Rs. 40,000/-||Rs. 44,000/-|
|Huawei Nova 3||Rs. 59,999/-||Rs. 59,999/-|
|Huawei Y9 2019||Rs. 37,999/-||Rs. 39,999/-|
The list includes phones from all price categories. From the budget Y3 2017 to the triple camera flagship P20 Pro, most of the phones have received a price increase. This also suggests that the recently launched Huawei Mate 20 Pro may also come to Pakistan with a hefty price tag.
