The time of year has come when we can stop obsessing over the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus and start getting excited about the new addition to the Mate family, Huawei Mate 10.
The smartphone is expected to make a debut on 16th October, around the time its predecessor was launched last year.
Right now, we do not know much about the upcoming smartphone other than that the company will introduce a complete bezel-less design this year.
As we previously reported, the Huawei Mate 10 is expected to feature facial recognition features alongside the AR support and 3D sensing technology.
According to various media reports, the smartphone will feature HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC, 6 inches screen with 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution. we are still not sure whether Mate 10 will have 5.8 inches display slightly smaller or the 5.9 inches screen of its predecessor.
Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Technologies Consumer Business Group previously in an interview described that Huawei with Mate 10 will launch a powerful product and has promised to give Apple a tough competition in the handset industry.
He said; “The Mate 10, which has much longer battery life with a full-screen display, quicker changing speed, better-photographing capability and many other features that will help us compete with Apple.”
We are still waiting for an official confirmation by the company regarding the launch of its flagship phablet in October.
