Huawei, the Chinese smartphone giant is unveiling its new flagship smartphones, Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro on 16th October this year and reportedly the company is planning to end this year with a bang.
After Samsung’s amazing edge-to-edge display in the Galaxy S7 Edge, many smartphone brands are trying to offer the same experience and Huawei is next in line.
According to various media reports, the smartphone company is offering a complete bezel-less display in Huawei mate 10 Pro while the Mate 10 will mostly resemble its predecessor, Huawei Mate 9.
Previously, it was rumored that Mate 10 will feature a bezel-less display but it looks like things have changed. Well, if the news is true, we may witness the fingerprint scanner at the back of the smartphone as killing off the bezels leaves no other place for the sensor unless they’ve found a way to place it beneath the screen which is highly unlikely.
Huawei Mate 10, however, may follow the lead of P10, launched earlier this year by placing the fingerprint scanner on the front of the device.
Recently, the company also gave us a teaser regarding the dual camera of the new flagship devices.
Again, we will be seeing the dual cameras by Leica in the new phablets. Reportedly, they will feature a 12 MP color sensor and a 20 MP monochrome one, just like the ones featured in Mate 9 and P10.
Some rumors also suggest that Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro will be powered by the upcoming and still unannounced Kirin 970, though we are still waiting for confirmation.
