Last year’s Mate 10 duo from the Chinese manufacturer rightly enjoyed significant fame for its superb performance and now its successors, Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro are making headlines and are expected to further up the ante with some amazing specs. Some more information on the latest Mate duo has been leaked by a Chinese publication.
The new information reveals that the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro will both feature the triple camera setup similar to the one that the company introduced in the this year’s P20 Pro. Also, the Kirin 980 is now rumored to feature ARM Mali graphics.
Rumors also have it that the phone will come equipped with the GPU Turbo tech recently introduced by Huawei.
The latest report suggests that the upcoming Mate is codenamed Hima and has already been approved by Chinese radio transmission body as HMA-AL00 and HMA-TL00 variants. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is codenamed as Laya. Both the smartphones are rumored to feature triple camera setup.
Huawei Mate 20 may feature 12MP+ 20MP+ 8MP triple camera setup whereas the advanced Mate 20 Pro may come equipped with 40MP + 20MP + 8MP triple cameras. Like their predecessors, the cameras will be engineered by Leica.
It is obvious that the Kirin 980 SoC will be powering the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro smartphones. As rumors suggest, the phones will come with variants of 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM.
According to XDA Developer’s report, Huawei Mate 20 will sport a 6.3-inch AMOLED screen while the Mate 20 Pro will come with a larger 6.9-inches display. Both of the phones are speculated to come with a 4200mAh battery along with Huawei Supercharge.
