Huawei Mate 20 Lite has been in the spotlight for quite some time. We got a good look at the design of the phone earlier in the leaked renders and the phone now has officially been listed on Huawei’s Global Website.
Rumors about the phone were, more or less, spot on as the specs and design of the phone are almost identical to what we witnessed in the leaks.
It’s the first phone in the Mate 20 series while the other two flagship phones will be launched in October, as per the announcement from the company. Huawei Mate 20 Lite is made out of metal and glass and supports a dual rear camera with 20MP + 2MP lenses.
The back cameras are aligned vertically in the spine of the phone above the fingerprint scanner while on the front, the phone sports a large notch resembling the one on Huawei Nova 3i. The notch hosts the dual front camera with 24MP + 2MP sensors.
The camera packs interesting features like the Phase Detection Autofocus, HDR Pro, AI-powered 3D Qmoji and Super Slow Motion.
The cameras come with AI tweaks and Image Signal Processor (ISP) which makes it capable of recognizing different scenarios and enhancing the quality for better pictures.
Huawei Mate 20 Lite flaunts a 6.3-inch fullHD+ IPS display and is available with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. Huawei’s Kirin 710 64-bit octa-core processor powers up this beast.
The device hosts a massive 3750mAh battery which supports fast charging too. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on the phone, along with Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 8.2 skin.
