Huawei has recently caused massive ripples in the industry by launching the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 but these are not the only phones that released on the extravagant launch event.

Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design also launched along with the much teased Huawei Mate 20X, a phone with amazing capabilities and the best in class triple camera setup with quite innovative features like an advanced cooling setup.

The Mate 20 pro comes with a massive battery of 4200mAh which supports an amazing 40W ultra-fast charging. What’s more enticing is that you don’t have to buy the charger separately. It comes out of the box.

This charging technology got the techies all over the world very intrigued so someone decided to put it to test to verify whether what the company claims is true, as reported by Gizchina.

According to the test results, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro went from 0% to 100% in just 68 minutes. When plugged in at 0%, the phone charged to 36% in just 15 minutes. After 50 minutes, the charging was 95% after which the charging rate began to drop and got to 100% in 68 minutes.

For comparison, Galaxy Note 9 comes with 18W fast charge and 4000 mAh battery. It takes 109 minutes to charge the Note 9 from 0% to 100% which is 40 minutes more than Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

Furthermore, for charging safety, Huawei said that it ensured that this charger is safe and it passed the authority certification of TÜV Rheinland, so users don’t have to worry
