The launch event for Huawei Mate 20 series is scheduled for October 16 where Mate 20 and Mate 20 pro would be announced and thanks to the abundant leaks, we also know how the handset will look like and when will come to Pakistan. However, the company surprised us by teasing another phone that will be launched with the aforementioned two, Huawei Mate 20X.
The teaser video was revealed on the manufacturer’s Twitter account. It’s a 10-second video that shows a block of ice in the shape of the phone on which words like “cooler” and “longer gaming appear” and in the end, we see a launch date, October 16.
“Cooling” hints that the phone will have an advanced cooling system so that heating up may not affect its performance and by “loner gaming” we are hoping that the phone will have a bigger battery. Though the Mate 20 is already speculated to have a 4000mAh battery but to mention “longer gaming” specifically might mean that Mate 20X may even have a bigger one than other two in the series.

Other leaks have also emerged on Twitter hinting towards the screen technology and its resolution on the Huawei Mate 20X as well as its other two siblings. The leaked spec sheet also suggests the size of all the three phones and in terms of sheer size, Mate 20X packs a 7.1-inch display which is just humongous.

As for the design, we can safely assume that the Huawei Mate 20X might come with a waterdrop notch. Though other specs are unconfirmed, company’s latest chipset, Kirin 980 might be powering the phone along with 8GB RAM and 512 GB memory.
