This year we have started to realize that the fancy features that were once limited to the flagship devices will now make their way to the mid-range devices of this season. Huawei P20 Lite has just passed through FCC will boast an extra tall screen with 19:9 screen aspect ratio.
Additionally, Huawei P20 Lite according to the FCC certificate will also have an iPhone-X like notch which undoubtedly will hide the true depth cameras for facial recognition feature. Diagonally, the smartphone will be around 6 inches and will have 2280x 1080 pixels screen resolution.
Interestingly, the fingerprint sensor is not included in the schematics but we have seen one in many leaked renders so I guess we’ll have to wait for the final reveal to solve this mystery. The dual cameras of the device are vertically oriented just like we saw them in the Huawei Mate 10 series.
Huawei P20 Lite will pack a 2900mAh battery which is a bit less than the 3000mAh battery of Huawei P10 Lite. The company has officially confirmed 27th March as the launch date for its new smartphones and we still have to wait for more than a month to hear more about the devices.
This year, Samsung also followed this trend and introduced its much-appraised infinity display, which was previously limited to company’s flagship devices, in its mid-range devices Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+.
