Huawei P20 Pro

Huawei is all set to unveil its new flagship devices, Huawei P20 Pro, P20 and a mid-range device P20 Lite on 27th March 2018 which have appeared in a number of leaks and will continue to do so till the company finally releases its new smartphones.

Till now we knew a lot about the new devices but one thing that evaded us was the pricing of smartphones which thanks to Ronald Quandt we finally have.

According to his tweet, Huawei P20 will be priced at €679, Huawei P20 Pro will be available for €899 while P20 Lite will carry the €369 price tag.

Clearly, the Pro model is going to be the most expensive of the series and will be more costly than the Samsung’s new flagship device, Galaxy S9 which is available in Europe for €859.

Huawei P20 Pro may sound expensive when you look at the price tag but in comparison, it is still less costly than the Apple’s 10th-anniversary smartphone, iPhone X and Galaxy S9+, Samsung’s new smartphone.

Huawei has not yet reached the $1000 price tag for any of its flagship devices but it is closer than ever with the upcoming launch of Huawei P20 Pro so we can assume that the Mate 11 or Mate 20 Pro will fill up the gap later this year.

The Pro variant is expected to come with a triple camera system unlike P20 and P20 Lite which will only have dual cameras. The flagship devices will come with the Kirin 970 chipset while the Lite version will have the mid-range Kirin 659 processor which was also found in Mate 10 Lite.

Last week, Vodafone Spain leaked the confirmed specs of P20 Lite, you can view them by clicking here. The P20 series is also expected to come with iPhone X-like notches on the top.
