CES 2017: Huawei to add features of Alexa on its Mate 9

If you like to use a smartphone that comes with a user-friendly interface, then Huawei’s Mate 9 would be a great choice for you as the Chinese company has announced that its latest flagship smartphone Mate 9 will get an Amazon’s Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based system. The company is all set to compete with Apple Siri and Google Assistant by introducing this Amazon’s Alexa app on its Mate 9.

At CES 2017 event, a spokesperson of Huawei has confirmed to media outlets that a software update is coming to the Mate 9 to add Alexa in it.

According to Engadget, the Mate 9 will go on sale starting $599 at Amazon, Best Buy, B&H, and NewEgg, but it is still not clear when the update of Alexa will go out on this device but the company has confirmed that it will use this app.

Amazon Alexa is a great tool that lets you connect to the Smart Home devices and control your home appliances and other electronics by just using your voice.

Huawei Mate 9 has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and it comes with the Android’s latest version of operating system, Nougat 7.0. There is a 12MP RGB Camera with OIS features and an 8MP selfie camera.The device packs 5.9-inches display size with 373 ppi.

At CES 2017, a number of devices will be launched, Asus is also unveiling its ZenFone AR and Zoom smartphones. Both of these devices come with powerful features and high-quality cameras.
