Huawei has finally joined the Android Go party with the Huawei Y3 2018. The new entry-level smartphone made its appearance on the company’s Ghanian website and features the device’s images and specifications.
Huawei Y3 2018 will come with 5 inches screen with 480 x 854 pixels screen resolution and regular 16:9 screen aspect ratio. It is going to be powered by an entry-level chipset, MediaTek MT6737M coupled with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
Unsurprisingly, it will come with USB 2.0 to charge the 2280mAh battery while the rear will have an 8MP camera and the front will carry a 2MP snapper. It is expected to come in three colors; white, gold and grey.
The company is highlighting the F2FS file system and a loudspeaker in Huawei Y3 2018 which makes us curious how the company will be able to attract users to these features. We are not yet sure about the release date of the new Android Go smartphone but one this is sure that it is going to be a very affordable smartphone and an ideal option if someone plans to switch from feature phone to smartphone.
Earlier this year, HMD Global also introduced its first Android Go featuring Nokia 1 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018, which is available in Pakistan for Rs. 10, 900 which probably hints that Huawei may follow the same price bracket if the smartphone lands in the country.
