Hybrid Rickshaws soon to hit the roads in Pakistan

Forget Hybrid cars, as Pakistanis will soon witness Hybrid rickshaws on the roads. Green Vehicles Private Limited, a Pakistani company, introduced gave us all a sneak peak of the hybrid rickshaws at the Karachi Auto Show 2017.

This new hybrid rickshaw offers the same transport but with the touch of the 21st century. It will be air conditioned and would also feature a built-in Wi-Fi service, though non-air conditioned models would also be available.

Apart from these facilities, the hybrid rickshaws save energy as they consume less fuel as compared to other ordinary rickshaws where its fuel average is 50km in one liter.

The most surprising feature is that it does not consume fuel when driven at a speed below 25 km/h as its engine automatically switches to the hybrid system. According to Green Wheels, the non-air conditioner rickshaw will cost around Rs400,000.
