At the 9th event of International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) at Expo Centre Karachi, Pakistan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Turkey. Turkey will acquire 52 Super Mushshak trainer aircraft from Pakistan. According to the officials present at the IDEAS 2016 event, this deal will make stronger the relationships between Turkey and Pakistan.
Pakistan has promised that the aircraft would be delivered to Turkey on time. The officials have confirmed that it is the biggest deal between the two countries in the field of defence.
About Super Mushshak aircraft
The Super Mushshak is a primary trainer aircraft, which is an upgraded version of the MFI-17 Mushshak. It was developed by the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC). The maximum speed of this aircraft is 268 km per hour and has the range of 814 km. Moreover, it can also carry the load of up to 300 kg.
Pakistan presents significant opportunities for the foreign investment, and the government is working hard to strengthen the economy further.
What’s the event all about?
It is a four-day event and today is its third day. The route leading to the Expo Centre has also been decorated with the national flags and welcome banners. The entire road is looking stunning, and the participants are also enjoying the event.
As we have already reported earlier, more than 90 delegations from 43 countries of the world are attending the IDEAS 2016 event. A total of 418 companies from 34 countries including 157 Pakistani firms is showcasing their products in this mega defence event. Because of the successful marketing by the Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO), nine new countries are also participating in the IDEAS 2016.
It is a time of pride for us because now our country is working for the development of the defence industry. No doubt, Pakistan is not behind any other country for designing the best security equipment.
