Due to the dollar surge, the smartphone brands in Pakistan have increased the prices of their product. Samsung was the first one to burst the bubble by drastically increasing the prices of their phones and every other manufacturer started to follow suit.
Infinix Pakistan has also raised the prices of their phone due to the elevation in dollar price and a 7% increase in import duty. What’s more important is that it’s not the first time that we are seeing an increase in Infinix mobile phone prices.
Infinix Note 5 Stylus, the latest and the most premium phone of the company launched almost just a week ago and shockingly has received a major price hike. Besides the Note 5 Stylus, the company has increased prices for its other phones like Infinix S3X. Here are the launch and revised prices of the phone.
|Infinix Note 5 Stylus||Rs. 32,999/-||Rs. 37,899/-||Rs. 37,899/-|
|Infinix S3X (3GB)||Rs. 22,500/-||Rs. 23,999/-||Rs. 25,600/-|
|Infinix S3X (4GB)||Rs. 25,999/-||Rs.27,999/-||Rs. 32,999/-|
It is the first time that we have seen such price hikes in such a tight time frame from any smartphone company in Pakistan.
These increased prices put a major question mark on the selling capacity of the phones since, in such prices, a user gets a number of appealing options from renowned brands like Huawei, Honor, OPPO, and Vivo. This makes us think that if the options like Honor 8X, Huawei Nova 3i, Oppo F9, Vivo V11 are available in more or less the same price as the Infinix Note 5 Stylus, will the user opt for the Infinix phone?
