After the advancement in rear cameras with Huawei P9 offering a Leica dual camera and the Nokia 9 to offer 22MP sensor, smartphone companies are now moving towards changing how the world takes selfies.
The newly released Huawei P10 has housed a Leica camera at the front as well while the Oppo F3 Plus released last month introduced to the world a first ever dual front camera with a 120 degrees wide angle.
Infinix has just released the Infinix S2 calling it the ‘world’s first Wefie smartphone.’ The Infinix S2 features a dual front camera with a 13MP sensor responsible for taking pictures with beautification effects while the 8MP will enable users to take selfies with an ultra-wide angle of 135 degrees.
The phone will have a 5.2-inch screen with a curved build to make it even easier to hold and use with a single hand. The fingerprint will be housed on the back just underneath the rear camera which will be a 13MP one.
Infinix S2 will run the older Android OS 6.0 Marshmallow, have a 3GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage expandable to 128GB via an SD card. The first ever Wefie phone will run on an octa-core processor supported by a 3000 mAh battery.
