Although we are not yet stopped getting the details about the upcoming iPhone 7, the rumors have been circulating on the internet regarding the iPhone 7 Pro, which is expected to be launched after the flagship handset, iPhone 7.
A French website, Nowhere Else has spotted some new pictures. One of the images is allegedly showing the iPhone 7 Pro. According to the rumors, the new iPhone 7 Pro will come with a dual-camera setup on the back. The device will also feature a smart connector. Back in April, rumors were that the iPhone 7 would feature a dual-lens camera.
Some sources claim that two versions dubbed iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, each equipped with a screen of 4.7 and 5.5 inch diagonal are in preparation while others argue that a third variant called Pro is also scheduled.
LinX has built the hardware and software solution for iPhone 7 Pro cameras. The two lenses would seamlessly work together. This kind of camera setup improves the background defocus and recreate depth of field — background defocus is one of the reasons why people use low aperture DSLR lenses.
iPhone 7 Pro Dual-lens Camera
Apple secured a license for a dual-lens camera system, way back in January. The patent gave the summary of a dual-camera system that composed of one standard wide-angle lens and a second telephoto lens. The camera supports capturing zoomed-in video and images. Both the lens can be used together at the same time and users will be able to merge pictures together.
The dual camera system performs very well even in the dark environment. The colors and HDR performance also improves.
As we can see in the photos, the iPhone 7 pro going to have curved edges. The back of the smartphone is made out of aluminum. The iPhone 7 Pro would not feature any headphone jack. So, get ready for using a wireless hands-free device.
