Now that we are almost done with praising the new flagship of Samsung, Galaxy Note 8 let’s focus on the other major reveal of this year, Apple’s 10th-anniversary smartphone, iPhone 8.
As we have previously reported, the company will likely launch its flagship smartphone, iPhone 8 on 12th September and now we know that it is also planning to give tough competition to Samsung in terms of pricing.
According to a new report by The New York Times, the premium model of the new iPhones will boast a hefty price of $999, around 54% more than its predecessor, iPhone 7. The price of Galaxy Note 8, on the other hand, starts from $930.
The iPhone 8 is set to feature an all-screen display just like the one Samsung offered earlier this year in Galaxy S8 and S8+, tap to wake function, removal of Home Button, facial expression and attention detection and powerful design of the status bar etc.
The smartphone will reportedly be available in three colors black, silver and gold while the company will be ditching the Rose Gold color in the future device.
Last month, Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Technologies Consumer Business Group promised that the Huawei Mate 10 will give tough competition to iPhone 8. With the increased competition, we hope that Apple will offer some incredible features to match the price tag.
