According to a note shared by a trustworthy source, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo the tenth-anniversary smartphone by Apple will only come in three colors, black, silver and gold. Meaning the company is ditching the Rose Gold variant of the iPhone 8, reports MacRumors.
The Rose Gold color was a breath of fresh air for the customers who got tired with the same old colors of the smartphone but this time maybe they just have to stick with buying a colorful back cover or changing their loyalties.
The Kuo’s analysis is still speculative as we haven’t seen any official news and announcement but it correlates with the leaked image that was released this past weekend, courtesy of Chinese social media site Weibo.
As we have previously reported, the iPhone 8 will support the following features:
- Tap to Wake Function
- Removal of Home Button
- Facial Expression and Attention Detection
- Powerful Design of the status bar
Apple is expected to launch its flagship smartphone in September later this year.
