Japanese envoy met Chief Minister (CM), Usman Buzdar, and expressed keen interest to reform science and technology, irrigation, water management as well as technical and vocational education in the province.

It has been decided to increase the Investment and cooperation between Punjab and Japanese city Osaka while CM guaranteed necessary assistance to facilitate the investors and their team.

“It is time to give a new dimension to the bilateral relations between both countries and take our friendship to the next level,” exclaimed CM Punjab.

The Government guided the envoy with the upcoming investment opportunities in Punjab while also framed the plans to revamp the different sectors in the province including healthcare, vocational education, and others.

CM admired the struggle of the Japanese nation to improve the lives and bringing prosperity into the country while revealing: “ I am fond of Japanese technology due to its approach towards durability and innovation.”

Pakistan is going to build a mega project of housing in the coming years as announced by the PM Imran Khan. The Naya Pakistan Housing Project will be in need of expertise and a trained workforce to tackle such a large scale scheme.

The government has big plans to introduce reforms in technical and vocational education to create employment opportunities and uplift industries in the country. Announced earlier, a mega project to provide loans to technical graduates is also the extension of the same strategy.
