Jazz, the largest telecom company in Pakistan is also the one with most annoyed customers in the country. According to the latest data released by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Jazz received 940 complaints where 912 were redressed by the telco.
The second spot belonged to Telenor with 738 complaints where 734 were resolved, followed by Zong with 487 complaints out of which 486 were addressed by the telecom company. Ufone received 355 complaints where 352 were redressed.
Jazz after its successful merger with Warid has the highest number of mobile phones subscribers which can potentially be the reason for the most number of consumer complaints against the company.
Total complaints against Cellular Mobile Operators rose to 2520 from 1776 complaints reported by the end of December 2017.
Apart from the cellular networks, PTCL also stood at its top position with 1115 complaints where 1094 were resolved. People complaining about PTCL and especially their internet connection is not a new thing but we see very little progress in terms of satisfying the users.
This is not the first time PTCL and Jazz are seen leading the consumer complaint charts instead they are actively maintaining their positions indicating that there is a much larger room for improvement. The telco can be seen focusing on its customers from last year with campaigns like Customer Obsessed Day etc.
