Lenovo is planning to launch a new version of its Miix 700 tablet. The reports are coming that the company will introduce Miix 720 in the year 2017. The device is expected to come with a higher-resolution screen (2880 x 1920 pixels), a USB Type-C port, and a lot of other features.

Although Lenovo has not officially confirmed any release date or specifications for this new tablet, some tech websites have leaked the information regarding this device.

Lenovo’s Miix 720 will be a 12-inch device, and it will be protected by the advanced Corning Gorilla Glass 4. There will be a 16GB RAM and 1TB internal memory. Other features of this tablet include 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1.

According to the leaked details, Lenovo Miix 720 will not come with a very powerful GPU. Lenovo is expected to introduce this device before the launch of Surface Pro 5, which is also due in 2017. The analysts are saying that Miix 720 will compete directly with the upcoming Surface Pro 5.

There are not any details available regarding the price of Lenovo Miix 720. Moreover, there is also a chance that Lenovo will release a new version of its Stylus Active Pen 2, with extra sensitivity pressure. Recently, it was reported that Samsung is also planning to launch a new Stylus Pen with its Galaxy Note 8.
