Now you can get free of cost information on any electricity-related issue via SMS. Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited (LESCO) has launched an SMS service to alert the citizens about their bill status, load shedding timing, and other information. The activation procedure for the LESCO SMS service is very easy.

To activate the LESCO SMS service, type “REG<Space><customer ID>” in an SMS and send it to 8303. You will receive a confirmation message once the registration process is completed. The charges for sending an SMS to 8303 are Rs. 2+tax.

You can check your customer ID on your bill. You can also register online for LESCO SMS Service. The service also provides an option to add your email address, so that you can get updates on the email as well.

Once registered, you will get the alerts on the following subjects:

  • Meter reading and meter reading date
  • Bill amount and the due date
  • Load shedding schedule
  • Shutdown Schedule
  • Payment Confirmation

It is also important to mention here that Karachi-based K-Electric is already offering a similar service to its customers. The citizens of Karachi can register by sending their 13-digit account number to K-Electric. Type REG (space) your A/C # and send your SMS to 8119.

  1. who can i know My consumer ID of LESCO. because when i am going to pay the bill through my bank account they are asking for consumer ID. what is mention on the Bill customer ID i put it but Bank system says it is wrong. can some one help me how to get right consumer ID.
