In Pakistan, we are currently looking at the Dawn of startup and entrepreneurship where various small companies are coming forth with their brilliant ideas to solve our daily life problems. Among such startups is Lets Innovate, runners-up at Startup con at Digital Youth Summit 2017.
The company presented its product HELLI, which is a smart helmet that can combine safety with convenience. Lets Innovate is a tech startup which possesses expertise in software and hardware development and also in automation. established in 2015, the company has taken on different projects including; automation of NADRA’s DSNG vans, app development for Jang Group etc.
The startup is working on a smart helmet named HELLI. The features of the helmet vary with different models and the team aspires to develop an end product that has a multitude of features. But, right now they are currently focusing on the basic version of HELLI which provides the following features:
- Wireless audio connectivity which enables the rider to receive calls
- Wireless indicators which increase the visibility of the rider
- Intelligent collision/shock detection system that can detect if the rider has been in an accident and send their location to the emergency services and the next of kin.
The smart helmet would help the rider by connecting with the companion app on the rider’s smartphone. The team is also working towards an advanced version of HELLI with a Dash Cam as well as a stand-alone GPS mechanism. A bicycle version is also in the works with GPS capability so that parents or guardians of the rider can Geo-Fence a particular radius and track the rider’s movement.

NIC’s curriculum session helped Lets Innovate to understand what makes a business successful. The team also went on a fully funded trip by Jazz to Barcelona, to attend MWC (4YFN) in order to gain global exposure for its operations.
For the past two years, the company has bootstrapped its business operations and is currently looking for investors that can help them with the company’s growth and the acceleration of HELLI’s launch.
