Huawei has just launched its flagship Mate 20 series in a phenomenal event in London amid much excitement. The Chinese giant is in a habit to present smartly designed innovations in its smartphones and today was no different.
As much as the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro look promising, Huawei has brought forth the X-factor in this year’s Mate 20 series. Yes, we are talking about the Mate 20X.
A few days back, the company teased us with this smartphone but we were not sure what Huawei is hiding under its hood? No need for more speculations as the device is official now, Let’s dig into this big boy.
Largest Display on a Flagship
The Mate 20X Amoled display stands at 7.2 inches, which is never tried in the smartphone industry by any big player. Although it will be much difficult to hold the phone single-handedly, it will provide a rich immersive experience for gaming and content viewing.
The phone has the same glass back as other mate 20 series phones which is the Hyper Optical Pattern that plays with light and shadows, producing an iridescent optical effect that is immediately captivating.
Innovative Gaming Capabilities
The main purpose of this device is to cater to the needs of the gamers. It has a dedicated, perfectly matched gamepad which can be used with the phone for a gaming experience similar to that of Nintendo devices. Huawei claims that it provides 6.67h of continuous gaming usage.
It is equipped with a revolutionary super cool system that uses a combination of graphene film and a vapor chamber to deliver outstanding cooling performance.
With the cooling system in place, the CPU and GPU embedded in Huawei Mate 20 X can remain at full throttle for an extended period of time and deliver the smoothest and most satisfying gaming experience to consumers. The HUAWEI super cool system also marks the first time graphene is utilized to cool smartphones which is 28 times better than existing copper film.
Largest Battery on a Flagship
The Huawei Mate 20 X has debuted an ultra-large 5000mAh battery for not only Huawei phones but for all the flagships produced ever. The new 40W Huawei SuperCharge and large battery work in tandem to provide users with the best battery life.
The stylus increases smartphone’s functionality as it provides accuracy and detailing. Huawei has introduced M-Pen in Mate 20X to make it easy to use single-handedly. Although it is not as technologically advanced as Note 9 S-Pen, Huawei’s M-Pen has 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity that makes it quite a modern stylus.
Triple Camera Setup
Huawei doesn’t want you to take Mate 20 X just as a gaming phone as they have provided the same camera setup of mate 20 Pro for mobile photography. The rear of the phone comes with 40MP + 20MP + 8MP lenses while the front is adorned with 24MP wide selfie lens.
Performance and Storage
The Huawei Mate 20X is powered by Huawei’s densest and highest performing system on chip (SoC) to date—the Kirin 980. Manufactured with the advanced 7nm process incorporating the powerful Cortex-A76-based CPU and Mali-G76 GPU, the SoC offers improved performance and an unprecedented smooth user experience.
The Mate 20X is IP68 water and dust resistant that means you can take some underwater shots.
