Here comes a photography contest from realme which is a sister brand of Oppo. The contest is a global initiative with a tagline ‘shot on realme’. 

Realme has thrown a number of smartphones in the Pakistani smartphone market this year. At the launch of Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro, it announced to focus more on its camera prowess. 

The youth-centric brand plans to close the year with another exciting offer. The global photography contest is all about shooting, displaying and exchanging photos.

The contest which was started on November 16th is on its course till it ends on November 30th. 

Realme fans in Pakistan can also participate in this photography contest during the mentioned dates. The intent of this contest is to inspire more youth to capture this everyday beauty through the lens of realme mobile phones.

How to participate in this photography contest?

Those who want to participate can submit entries in six themes; Yellow, people, travel, perspective, nightscape and creative. 

Using any realme phone, the participant should inbox the pictures on realme Pakistan’s FB page before the deadline ends. Top winners from Pakistan will be selected by December 7th who will get realme buds 2 and other prizes.

The entries from Pakistani winners will be sent by realme for Global Photography Contest to the head office where a global winner will be announced on January 1st who will be rewarded with $10,000 and a realme XT.

Conditions

  1. Only 1 picture per theme will be accepted.
  2. Participants must mention the theme while submitting an entry.
  3. Pictures that don’t fit the theme will be disqualified.
  4. Shot on realme watermark should be on.
  5. Plagiarism and Photography Theft is highly discouraged.

Who will select the winner?

Aaron Huey, an eminent National Geographic photographer, realme Chief Photography Officer personally kicked off this contest. He has photographed over 30 stories for National Geographic magazines and is a Contributing Artist at Harper’s Magazine.

As a Global Ambassador for Stanford’s D. School, he is focusing on media experiments and helped fine-tune the camera details and image tuning of the realme Xt.

The Jury of the photography contest is also comprised up of some world-renowned international photographers and storytellers as well as realme top management.
