Motorola has seen ups and downs when it comes to the smartphones industry. Motorola flip phones were a favorite of many but those days are a thing of past, now is the age of smart AI assistants like Bixby and the revolutionary design of the recently released Samsung Galaxy S8.
Companies like Huawei are offering brilliant Leica dual cameras in flagship phones like Huawei P10 and so every smartphone is trying to develop its own niche.
Motorola’s midrange phones such as the Moto G5 and Moto E series have seen some success and now it’s releasing the Moto C series. The Moto C and Moto C Plus are said to be introduced to target first-time smartphone buyers.
According to reports, both the phones will house a 5-inch display so the term ‘Plus’ on the other phone means a change in specifications rather than display. The Moto C plus will have a 720p HD screen and the Moto C will have a 420p screen.
The phones will run on a 1.3GHz Quad-core processor while the C Plus will be 4G LTE ready, the Moto C will come in two variants, one with 4G LTE and one with 3G. The phones will either have an 8Gb or 16GB internal storage.
Moto C will have a 5MP rear camera and the C Plus will come packing with an 8MP rear camera and 2 MP selfie camera.
The batteries on Moto C and Moto C Plus will be 2350mAh and 4000mAh respectively. The release date and price is unknown.
